Short CV: Alex Vamvakas is a Partner and co-founder of Evercurious VC, a €12.5 million early-stage deep tech venture fund. He holds a Diploma in Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and an MSc in Advanced Engineering from Imperial College London. Alex began his career as a researcher at CERN, working on projects linking science to real-world applications, particularly in medical applications like particle accelerators for cancer treatment. In 2021, he joined Fairway Asset Management in Zurich, where he led the creation of a new venture arm investing in deep tech companies before returning to Greece to launch Evercurious VC.
