Short CV: Dr Sam Toby is an Australian-trained medical doctor and Astronaut Candidate with Titans Space for the March 2029 cohort. As a Gangulu First Nations physician, she brings a strong focus on precision, nutritional, and environmental medicine, with additional expertise in plant medicines, longevity research, and biotech innovation. Dr Toby is the Founder of Tribal Space Industries, holds a B.Sc. in Biomedical Science from the University of Queensland, an MBBS from Griffith University (becoming the first Indigenous medical doctor to graduate from Griffith), and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Her career spans general practice, emergency medicine, and leadership in health equity for Indigenous communities, with active publication and public engagement on space medicine, biotechnology, and ASD awareness.
