Short CV: Nardos Serkalem is a machine learning engineer and researcher from Ethiopia with a strong background in Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), machine learning, and space data science. She holds a BSc degree in Computer Science (2025) from St. Mary’s University, Ethiopia, and works at the Space Science and Geospatial Institute (SSGI), in the Space and Planetary Science Department, focusing on data-driven solutions for space weather forecasting, Geomagnetic storm prediction, and intelligent data systems.She has contributed to the Hyperon framework at iCog Labs under SingularityNET, advancing AGI research through the MeTTa programming language and knowledge representation tasks. Nardos has completed specialized training in supervised and unsupervised machine learning, knowledge graphs (Neo4j), and LangChain, applying these methodologies to both space science and broader AI applications.As a member of the NASA OSDR AI/ML Working Group, she supports the development of innovative machine learning methodologies for space missions. Beyond her technical work, she is a Zooniverse volunteer and Stardust Ambassador, actively involved in science outreach, collaborative research, and community engagement.Her passions span AGI, AI/ML, space data science, and public science communication driving her commitment to advancing intelligent systems and space exploration.
